Dr. Serajian is recognized throughout the Chicago area for his advanced, personalized, caring approach to the early detection, prevention and rehabilitation of cardiac disease and venous disorders. He completed 11 years of school after college and is board certified in both osteopathic and medical boards, including cardiology, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology boards. He earned his biology degree from Transylvania University in Lexington and a degree from Pikeville Kentucky School of Osteopathic Medicine. The osteopathic holistic approach of medicine is about the wellness process and seeking out not only what makes someone ill but also what keeps a person well. Dr. Serajian specializes in minimally-invasive procedures, including Endovenous Laser Ablation, a minimally-invasive, in-office procedure for the treatment of varicose veins. A laser fiber is inserted directly into the vein that is causing the bulgy, unattractive and, often, painful varicose veins. The laser heats the vein lining, damaging it and causing it to collapse, shrink and disappear. This technique is painless and takes less than 30 minutes to perform. |
